Description: Yamaska is our answer to socks that wear out too quickly. This exclusive recipe uses cheviot wool, known for its architectural resilience, and mohair, which acts as a natural reinforcement. It's the "nylon-free" wool par excellence: mohair replaces synthetics with its superior tensile strength.
Ideal for: Everyday socks, work boots, and accessories that need to last decades: shawls, scarves, and blankets.
Composition: 70% cheviot wool, 30% mohair (for strength).
Highlights: Nylon-free sock wool, resistant cheviot wool, sustainable local fiber.
Composition & care
100% local Québec wool, hand-dyed with natural dyes (plants, roots, minerals).
Hand wash in cold water, dry flat. Do not tumble dry.
Origin & traceability
Fleeces sourced in Lanaudière. Carded, spun and dyed at the Makeloo studio in Lavaltrie.
