Makeloo Studio is a sustainable textile studio and shop, founded in 2017 on Île Dupas in Lanaudière, now based in Lavaltrie.

A birth in pain — and in fibre
In 2017, following an accident, Marcelo received an unusual prescription: hand spinning.

As a child, Marcelo learned to knit and crochet from his great-grandmother.
