Worsted or Woolen: two yarns, two uses.
The process changes everything: combed (worsted) for a smooth, sturdy yarn, or carded (woolen) for a lofty, warm yarn. We assess your fleece on arrival to guide you.

Our advice: long-staple fibres (> 70 mm) → worsted, which maximizes value and durability. Short fibres → woolen. “We assess your fleece on arrival.”
