For Makeloo Studio, two certifications in particular concretely support our approach: that of the Canadian Wool Cooperative and that of Produit du Québec.

The Canadian Wool Cooperative brings together producers, processors, and stakeholders in the wool industry across the country. Its certification specifically recognizes yarns composed of 100% Canadian fiber, or at least 50% local fiber combined with other Canadian fibers. Marcelo sits on its board as the representative for Quebec.

The Produit du Québec certification, for its part, guarantees that a product meets precise criteria for processing and added value carried out in Quebec, and is not merely assembled here from imported components.
